Cottage is located in Ballyvaughan, County Clare,
which is in the south west region of Ireland. The nearest large
airport is Shannon, less than an hour's drive away.
Dublin and Cork airports are each

| From
Shannon airport follow the main road N18
to Ennis. Stay on the N18 through
Ennis and then briefly take the N85
out of town. Make a right onto regional road R476,
looking for the Ballyvaughan signs at each intersection. Stay on
the R476 for 20 or more minutes before making another
right onto the R480. This road will lead you through
some of the most spectacular views of The Burren. |

| The R480
ends at road N67 and there you make a right, driving
one mile to the village centre. There you will make a left, taking
the coast road (R477) towards Fanore for 100 metres.
Make the first left just past the small bridge and look for the
third house on the left. This is Lockie's Cottage. |
